HARBOUR TOWN 2ND ONLY TO AUGUSTA

PGA Tour players long have said Harbour Town Golf Links is among their favorite courses on tour. A recent survey by Golf World proved it.

The magazine polled 81 players, asking them to award each of the tour's venues a score from 1 to 10. Harbour Town, site of the RBC Heritage, finished second to Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters.

The two events follow each other on the tournament calendar in April. The RBC Heritage will be held April 12-15.

Among the anonymous pro praise included in the report were the following: "My favorite Pete Dye course" ... "the best course we play." ... "don't need length for a great golf course" ... "It's a 10 because of great greens." ... "you have to shape the ball on almost every hole."

The survey puts Harbour Town in elite company. Rounding out the professionals' top 10 were Riviera Country Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Colonial Country Club, Muirfield Village Golf Club, Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club, Aronimink Golf Club, Innisbrook Resort and Congressional Country Club.
